Act 1 Theatre Group was formed in March 2008 and is run entirely by volunteers.

The aim of the group is to perform shows, musicals and plays involving children and young people. Our debut production, Bugsy Malone was staged at The Parc Hall Theatre Cwmparc in July 2008. It was a great start for us being a Sell out! 
Since then we have grown from strength to strength.
As well as performing shows at the Phoenix Theatre, we also perform Pantomimes & concerts around other local venues.
