April 2009 - Act1 were involved in filming for a documentary on S4C which was about some of our members. We all had to dress up as Doctors, Nurses & Patients.

Some cast members visited The Royal Glamorgan Hospital during the week of Aladdin and visited the childrens ward - for those who were unwell and unable to see our Panto. Get well soon all! (Photo on sub-page)

20/03/11 - Act 1 Social Committee organised a rehearsal day to raise Money for Comic Relief. Group members were to dress in their PJ's and sold cakes that were made especially for the day! Thanks everyone!

May 2011 - Act 1 Youth Theatre Group went to The Lighthouse Theatre in Poole where they were selected to perform extracts from their own version of Billy Elliot in a showcase with several other amateur companies from across the region. Pending this outcome, they may get to perform in the West End! Watch this space

July 2011 - Act 1 Youth Theatre Group performed scenes from their Billy Elliot in a Showcase at the Victoria Palace Theatre, London as finalists in the Billy 2011 Showcase!

Beauty & the Beast marked out 10th Production in just 3 years!
